Privacy policy and use of cookies
In plain words: what data this website collects, why it is needed, who receives it and how to withdraw your consent. This document covers the website lucent-legal.com only.
What data we receive
What you write yourself. Messages in the assistant dialog and the contact — WhatsApp number, Telegram handle or email — if you choose to leave one. This is seen by the lawyer who takes your enquiry.
Technical data. Like any website, our server logs the IP address, browser type, page address and time of visit. This is used for protection against attacks and to understand which materials are read. Logs are not linked to your identity.
Cookies and browser storage
Today the website sets no cookies at all. Local browser storage keeps only two technical records: the colour theme you picked and your decision about this banner. Neither is sent to the server and neither is used for tracking.
When we connect analytics or advertising tools, they will run only after your consent — this is already enforced technically: without pressing “Accept”, no third-party script loads.
Who receives the data
Anthropic — processes your messages so the assistant can reply. Only the dialog text is transmitted.
Our server — located in Germany; the site sits behind Cloudflare protection, which filters malicious traffic.
Contact verification service — if a lawyer checks which messenger your number is reachable on before the first outreach, the number is sent to checknumber.ai solely for that check. It is triggered manually and never runs automatically for every enquiry.
Beyond the recipients listed above, we do not sell or share your data with third parties — neither for advertising nor for any other purpose.
How long we keep it
Correspondence and contact — while we handle your matter and a reasonable period after, so we can pick the case back up. Technical server logs — up to 30 days.
Your rights
You may ask us to delete your correspondence and contact, obtain a copy of your data or withdraw consent. Write it in the dialog on the site and the request will be passed on.
You can change your cookie decision at any time: .
Confidentiality of enquiries
The dialog on this site is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. That said, we do not disclose the content of your enquiry to third parties, and cases are made public only anonymously and with your consent.
